I think board games are like video games. People like them because you’re basically in exciting situations you would never be in, in real life. In Life, instead of getting away to an exciting start as being in control, you face the same problems in the game as in real life. That’s when Indiana Jones comes in. Instead of “You can’t pay for college, go back to home space,” it’s “You escape the traps and natives, draw one Life tile.” The feeling of being important is now even in Life. There are three relics worth a ton of money (the Ark, the Shankara Stones, and the Grail) each in a section representing a movie: Raiders, Temple, and Last Crusade.
